(Atlanta, GA) -- Some COVID-19 appointments are being rescheduled in Georgia this week because of weather. The public health department said yesterday that vaccine shipments have been delayed, and it may continue as cold and wintry weather causes problems in different parts of the country. Vaccine providers are being asked to contact patients to reschedule appointments. Channel Two is reporting DeKalb County is experiencing cancellations, but the Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale health department is able to carry on as expected.
