Atlanta Braves' outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. is out for the 2021 season after injuring his knee in Saturday's game taking on the Miami Marlins.

An MRI revealed that Acuña had torn his right ACL and will need to undergo season-ending surgery, the Braves reported on Saturday.

During the 5th inning play, Acuña landed awkwardly on his knee after jumping to catch a line drive from Jazz Chisholm Jr.

He was helped off the field to an awaiting golf cart.

The Braves won the contest 5-4.
