Georgia Focus - Livestock Shows

Some students choose to play sports, others get involved in the arts - and those are both pretty common. On this episode of Georgia Focus, we're spotlighting the students who choose to get involved in livestock competitions. The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry is hosting junior livestock shows for market goats, market beef, and market hogs, as well as a dairy heifer show. These events are a major part of the annual Georgia National Fair in Perry and offer opportunities for 4-H and FFA members to compete in a range of shows and showmanship competitions. Rebecca Hughes is your guest host as we learn more from Kate Peacock, Grand and Reserve Champion Breeding Gilt 2024 and Aubrey Welch, Grand and Reserve Championship Market Wether and Reserve Championship Wether Dam 2024
